In 1974, when a national staffing franchise decided not to renew her license, Jean Simpson didn’t panic—she pivoted. On Friday, she closed one chapter. By Monday morning, she opened her own: Jean Simpson Personnel Services.
With no safety net, just heart, grit, and a mission to serve local businesses, she turned a setback into the launch of what would become the largest locally owned staffing agency in Northwest Louisiana and East Texas.
Three years later, her daughter, Sandra Braddock, moved back home to help—eventually stepping in to lead with the same personal touch and community focus. Together, they built more than a business. They built a bridge between people and opportunity.
The strength of that bridge continues today. The current leadership team, guided by Sandra’s steady vision, includes Gina Bihm, who after 23 years of dedicated service, was promoted to General Manager in 2023, bringing consistency, loyalty, and heart to every decision.
In 2020, Jean’s granddaughter, Somer Miller - the third generation - moved back home to learn the business and now serves as the company’s Risk & Safety Coordinator, continuing the legacy of care, trust, and community that started 50 years ago.
