Jean Simpson Personnel Services offers a Paymaster Service to businesses that have already recruited their own applicants but need a trusted third party to handle screening, onboarding, and payroll. This flexible solution—often called a “working interview”—allows companies to test candidates before hiring permanently.

How the Process Works

Applicants report to our office, where we handle all employment paperwork, including tax forms and drug screening. During the trial period, the individual remains on our payroll, helping employers reduce liability and overhead during onboarding.

What Jean Simpson Personnel Covers

As the employer of record, we manage:

  • Payroll processing

  • Social Security, state, and federal taxes

  • Medicare and unemployment contributions

  • Workers’ compensation insurance

Our work week runs Monday through Sunday, and employees are paid weekly by direct deposit, pick-up, or mail.
