1. Administrative Assistant. $14-$17/hour DOE. Per Company they can only hire candidates that are catholic. Provides skilled secretarial services including correspondence, reports and announcements for both offices, coordinates phone inquiries and visitors for both offices, maintains an accurate filing system for the Offices served as archival materials, processes certification records for both offices, coordinates hiring processes for teachers in the Shreveport and Monroe schools (background checks, etc.), creates a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests to the offices, maintains Catholic schools and office of Faith Formation’s websites.
  2. Payroll/General Ledger Accounting Clerk. $17-$20/hour DOE. Per Company they can only hire candidates that are catholic. Minimum of two (2) years of experience of general ledger and payroll. Experience in windows-based personal computer office applications. Working knowledge of financial accounting software application; Shelby Systems preferred. The general ledger/payroll accountant processes centralized payroll and all payroll tax reporting for the Catholic Center and Catholic Child Nutrition Services. Prepares monthly bank reconciliation for all diocesan operating accounts. Prepares monthly journal entries for diocesan financial reports. Assists in processing of cash receipts and accounts receivable through data entry and other bookkeeping procedures for the diocesan office. Researches and prepares monthly investment activity for all Diocese of Shreveport accounts.
