Local construction company is searching for an experienced Construction Superintendent. MUST have a minimum of 10 years recent Construction experience with Multifamily Superintendent experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of all field employees, subcontractors, and material deliveries to ensure project is completed on time and done right.
- Review, coordinate and implement the safety measures and applicable company programs for the project required to conform with OSHA standards and to ensure a safe workplace.
- Prepare and submit daily labor detail and work detail reports.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and General Superintendent on scheduling work that may impact current and future residents.
- Monitor project labor productivity and material quantity requirements and deliveries.
- Ensure change order approval has been secured before proceeding with any work outside the contract scope.
- Attend weekly zoom meetings.
- Regularly review the work plan for the entire work project.
- Some travel may be required with housing and per diem provided.
- Customer service oriented
- Must be computer literate (will be tested)
- Good organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing ground-up projects
Pay is entirely DOE. Bonus structure & company vehicle provided.
