Certified Polysomnographic Tech Needed

CERTIFIED POLYSOMNOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGIST (CPSGT)-  The Registered Technologist performs day and overnight polysomnograms, MSLT/MWT testing, diagnostic and therapeutics services as well as patient care and education.  A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist also provides training and education to polysomnographic trainees and technicians.  Perform accurate data tabulation and interpretation (scoring and reporting) to assist physicians in the interpretation of sleep studies.  Rotates call as needed.

• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (adult, child, and infant)
• Must be Certified in Polysomnographic Technology with the BRPT
• Completed an associated degree with emphasis in Polysomnography, or successful completion of ASTEP course, required
• Knowledge of normal cardio respiratory, neurological and sleep physiology.
• Must remain current with CEU’s.

Experience: At least 18 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required.
