Non-Licensed Mental Health Professional:

Direct-Hire | $55k annual & some Employee benefits

The Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) position requires active state licensure in good standing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, supervising non-licensed support staff (MHP’s & MHS’s), conducting recipient assessments for treatment, diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, individual and family counseling. We are looking to fill full-time positions but will consider part-time applicants.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervises non-licensed support staff. Conducts recipient assessments for treatment and performs diagnostics evaluations in accordance with the standards of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. Provides counseling with emphasis on prevention and support. Work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental and emotional health. May help individuals deal with issues associated with mental and behavioral health, addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; self-esteem; and aging.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Currently Licensed in the State of Louisiana as a Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
· Valid Driver’s License in good standing
· Car registration and insurance current

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Director of Clinical Operations
Supervises: Non-License Support Staff as assigned by the Director of Clinical Operations

JOB TASKS
· Maintain confidentiality of records relating to recipients' treatment.
· Assess patients for risk of suicide attempts.
· Collect information about recipients through interviews, observation, or tests.
· Guide recipients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.
· Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience, knowledge and competencies.
· Fill out and maintain recipient-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, recipient diagnostic records, and progress notes.
· Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
· Evaluate recipients' physical or mental condition, based on review of recipient information.
