Jean Simpson Personnel has enjoyed a close working relationship with AEP for many, years. One of the reasons AEP continues to rely on us is that we understand and abide by their strict policies and procedures when considering applicants for their Call Center.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING HIRING PROCEDURE OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED:

• You will be tested and must meet the minimum skill level set by AEP.
• AEP does not make schedule accommodations. If you are enrolled in, or plan to enroll, in school, we can’t consider you at this time.   Please speak with us about other employment opportunities that may be available to you.
• If you live outside a 45 minute drive of the Shreveport call center, we can’t consider you.

These are not our requirements.  It is AEP’s request that ALL APPLICANTS be available all days, all shifts and be able to report to work on short notice.

If your long-term goal is NOT to remain at AEP/SWEPCO for the reminder of your career, this is NOT for you.

WE WILL BE SCREENING ON AVERAGE 500+ APPLICANTS. DUE TO THE LIMITED TIME AVAILABLE WE ARE NOT ABLE TO TAKE WALK IN APPLICANTS.
