AEP/SWEPCO has career opportunities offering growth and development at their fast paced, 24-hour Customer Solutions Center. AEP relies on outstanding people skills, excellent communication skills, analytical abilities and positive attitudes to respond to their customers’ inquiries. Attention to details, PC Proficiency, attendance reliability and scheduling flexibility are required.

Initial employment will be as a temporary employee, with opportunity for permanent hire as positions become available. 40 hour schedules are assigned based on projected call volume needs for 24 hour 7 day week. Work schedule will including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in the Shreveport Customer Solutions Center.

Starting pay is $13.50 per hour. Candidates selected will begin training APRIL 30, 2018. You will be tested and must meet the minimum skill level set by AEP.

If you live outside a 45 minute drive of the Shreveport call center, we can’t consider you.
